6 OUTER SHELL Homologated to ECE 22.06, DOT, and FIM standards, the Supertech R10’s shell construction utilizes highly advanced molding technology with a multi-composite combination featuring a 3K high-density carbon outer later, a uni-directional carbon composite layer, and an aramid fiber and a fiberglass layer. The 3K high-density carbon outer layer provides excellent strength and efficiency of energy dissipation over the shell. The uni-directional carbon composite layer provides significantly greater radial strength around the shell, preventing compression but allowing controlled deflection for reducing transmitted impact energy. The aramid fiber and fiberglass layer provides critical penetration protection. Everything is bonded together with an advanced epoxy resin already applied on the pre-preg fiber. The helmet shell itself comes available in four anatomical sizes, offering construction optimized to ensure riders have the correct fit. INNER SHELL LINEAR AND ROTATIONAL IMPACT PROTECTION The inner shell is made in multi-density EPS material, to permit the required impact absorption properties exactly where they are required. The EPS liner, just like the outer shell, has its own unique dimension for each helmet size. Specific rotational impact protection is provided by the combination of the internal shape and specific coating of the EPS liner, coupled to a specially-developed surface in the comfort liner. This patented technology reduces rotational acceleration transmitted to the rider’s head.
7 AERODYNAMICS The Supertech R10 helmet has been developed in a full-scale wind tunnel from the outset of its development. Aerodynamic targets for coefficient of drag in different head positions, as well as stability at different angles, were a primary goal in the helmet shape development, first extensively developed with Computational Fluid Dynamics, then validated in a full-scale wind tunnel and finally on track. The result is S-R10, a helmet that achieves the lowest level of drag, and the highest level of aerodynamic stability at high speeds. Road riders will benefit from this too with reduced strain on their neck at high speed and low levels of wind noise. The S-R10 comes with two separate aerodynamic spoilers – a standard, and longer race version – and they’re both fitted with Alpinestars patented release system, with elastic joints that help the spoiler detach from the helmet shell if it is subjected to a significant impact. There are also lateral winglets to further support the helmet’s stability and improve aerodynamic drag. In addition, the helmet visor has turbulators to improve aero-acoustic performance. As a result, compared to the aerodynamic performance of the helmet in the standard set-up, the configuration with the race spoiler and aero winglets reduces drag by an additional 4.54%.
8 VENTILATION The S-R10 is equipped with extensive ventilation points: 11 ventilation ports, 7 intakes including 3 in the chinguard and 4 on the top, plus 4 exhausts, with 2 lateral ports on the chin bar, and 2 on the top rear of the helmet. Chin Vent: This is formed by two openings located at the front of the helmet at the sides of the shield lock mechanism. Each flap has a tab in the corner, which is used to open or close the vent; air entering from this point will be channeled towards the inner side of the shield, and this air effectively prevents fogging and misting. There is also a third ventilation point, located in the middle of the chin area, just below the shield lock: air entering from this point will be channeled towards the inner side of the shield to further prevent misting and fogging. This port is closeable by a rubber bung. Chin Bar Extractor Vents: These are used to extract humid air to the outside of the helmet. Rear Extractor Vents: Under the rear spoiler there are two extractor vents for effective hot air exhausting Top Vent: Activating the large Astars central slider channels air to the top of the head for superior airflow and comfort.
9 Visor metal lock SHIELD The S-R10 is fitted with an ECE 2206 homologated, optical Class 1 shield, with anti-scratch and anti-fog treatment. The shield varies in thickness from 1.6mm on the sides to 2.6mm in the center, and is provided with pins to attach a Pinlock 120XLT 100% Max Vision lens (included, plus, pins provided for tear-offs with one included. The visor has two unique features including a metal locking mechanism lever on the side and a metal lock on the chin area to prevent unwanted shield detachment during impacts and/or crashes, plus a lowered side line for maximized field of view, coming on top of an already outstanding wide eye port providing 220-degrees of lateral and 57-degrees of vertical visibility for great riding comfort. The shield attaches to the shell via side mechanisms that allow the shield to rotate and to move in order to seal it completely against the helmet’s rubber window trim. A-HEAD FITMENT SYSTEM Adding to the personalization and custom, tailor-made fit of the SR10 is its unique and patented A-Head fitment system. The A-Head system allows the helmet to be tuned exactly to the rider’s preference by having the ability to adjust both the height and angle at which the helmet sits on the head. With the micro-adjustable pad that is connected to the helmet inner EPS liner, the A-Head design allows for an ultra-specific setup that can be adapted to how deep the rider’s head sits in the helmet, as well as how far forward or back it is tilted.
10 REMOVABLE LINING All linings are removable and washable, and feature fabrics with antimicrobial treatments. Crown Pad: The crown pad and the neck pad are elastically connected for enhanced oblique impact management, with a construction based on four panels (front, sides, rear) for an optimized fit with the proper foam thickness in the right area. Top Pad: The top pad is removable and height adjustable via the A-Head System. Cheek Pads: The cheek pads are fitted 3D foam incorporating channels to accommodate spectacles, and also feature an emergency extraction system (ERS) and a channel for hydration tube installation. Chin Curtain: A chin curtain is also included with the helmet, allowing riders to enjoy protection against air entering from the lower side. Chin Strap: The 25mm wide nylon chin strap is equipped with stainless steel DD rings for a secure fit. Ear Pads: Side ear pads are fixed under each cheek pad and help to improve comfort by reducing the aerodynamic noise inside the helmet. Wind Deflector: A wind deflector is included with the helmet, and when fitted this aids the aerodynamic behavior of the helmet. Breath Deflector: A breath deflector is included with the helmet, and when fitted this helps prevent fogging and misting.
11 COLLARBONE DESIGN A specifically developed protection feature is visible in the chin bar’s profile, where the base area has been specifically sculpted to give a relief section. The bottom profile is not only raised to clear the collarbone, but also, instead of the hard carbon shell coming into potential contact with the collarbone, it’s actually the softer EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) liner which extends beyond the helmet shell itself, and is covered by a more flexible rubber compound. This design provides a reduced chance of any sort of collarbone injury, one of the more common injuries in motorcycling.

Engineered to perform on the track and the road, the lightweight S-R7 Helmet combines advanced aerodynamics, optimized airflow and cutting edge materials and Alpinestars patented PLASMA technology for superior protection performance. This helmet is also engineered to be seamlessly integrated with A-Connect; Alpinestars Communications System that utilizes a second generation Harman Kardon Sound System with 40mm speakers and advanced Ai-based noise cancelling technology for the ultimate in aural pleasure. 27 OUTER SHELL INNER SHELL Homologated to ECE 22.06 and DOT standards, the S-R7’s shell construction utilizes highly advanced molding technology with a multi-composite combination bonded with an advanced pre-preg epoxy resin process to maximize strength and mechanical performance. Featuring a carbon outer layer, an aramid fiber and a fiberglass layer, the shell is lightweight, yet ultra-protective. The fiberglass outer layer provides excellent strength and efficiency of energy dissipation over the shell, while the uni-directional carbon composite layer provides significantly greater radial strength around the shell, preventing compression yet allowing controlled deflection for reducing transmitted impact energy. This is then bolstered further by the aramid fiber and fiberglass layers providing critical penetration protection. All these layers are bonded together with an advanced epoxy resin that is already applied on the pre-preg fiber. The S-R7’s aerodynamic profile design offers a smooth, streamlined shell free of any external channels and features that might act as a load point in an impact or compromise the overall integrity of the helmet’s construction, and is equipped with a recess at the collarbone area that prevents the shell from coming into contact with the body in a slide, thereby significantly reducing the risk of collarbone injuries. The inner shell is made in multi-density EPS material, to permit the required impact absorption properties exactly where they are required. There are 7 different pieces, in six different densities, and each piece is strategically positioned for maximum impact energy dissipation. This energy management performance is bolstered even further with the two PLASMA collarbone sections: Alpinestars patented PLASMA technology is strategically-integrated into the SM7’s collarbone cutaways for high performance shock absorption in a critical area, significantly reducing the risk of injuries. The EPS liner, just like the outer shell, has its own unique dimension for each helmet size. The EPS surface itself is flush, and equipped with Alpinestars patented specific coating for proven rotational impact protection. This solution essentially acts as a slip plane to mimic the brain’s own low friction cerebrospinal fluid, which is the body’s natural defense against oblique impacts. This decrease in the rotational acceleration of the brain inside the skull after impact reduces the risk of concussion and other brain injuries: the S-R7 exceeds the ECE 22.06 Peak Rotational Acceleration standard by 76%. 20
AERODYNAMICS The S-R7 Helmet delivers ultra-low levels of drag, superior aerodynamic stability at high speeds, and reduced strain on their neck. The S-R7 is equipped with an integrated road spoiler, devised using computer aided pressure visualization in a full scale wind tunnel further reduce turbulence and drag. There are also lateral winglets to further support the helmet’s stability and improve aerodynamic drag. 21
Top Vent The entire top vent section is slideable, allowing riders to slide the vent to reveal three air channels for maximum airflow and cooling performance. Chin Bar Extractor Vents These are used to extract humid air to the outside of the helmet. Rear Extractor Vents Integrated inside the rear spoiler are two extractor vents for effective hot air extraction. VENTILATION The S-R7 is optimized for airflow. There are 10 ventilation ports in total; 6 intake ports including 3 in the chinguard and 3 on the top of the head that can be regulated by the slideable top vent mechanism, plus 4 exhaust ports, with 2 lateral ports on the chin bar, and 2 at the rear of the helmet. Additionally, the visor can be easily changed or removed thanks to its secure and tool-less quickrelease system. The shield attaches to the shell via side mechanisms that allow the shield to rotate and to move in order to seal it completely against the helmet’s rubber window trim. 23
32 - A-CONNECT READY The S-R7 is engineered to be seamlessly integrated with A-Connect; Alpinestars Communications System that utilizes a second generation Harman Kardon Sound System with 40mm speakers and advanced Ai-based noise cancelling technology for the ultimate in aural pleasure. The helmet is also equipped with a built-in, integrated charring point at the back of the neck section for quick and easy charging. Waterproof when mounted to the helmet’s shell, the System is powered by a dual core processing unit for unrivalled multi-taking audio performance, and has a Bluetooth and Mesh Intercom range of 1.2km in open terrain. When used a Group intercom, the Wave Intercom is virtually limitless, while the Group Mesh Intercom itself can host 24 riders. Equipped with powerful, hi-definition speakers, the intelligent System adapts to the riding environment in real time, minimizing wind and road noise for crystalclear voice transmission, and boasts lithium ion battery technology for a Bluetooth intercom battery lifetime of 24 hours (17 hours for Mesh Intercom). Recharge time is just 1.5 hours. A-Connect comes with the following components - Main unit: main keyboard, battery unit and antenna. - Speaker sets. - Microphone. - Additional double-sided adhesive tape. - Speaker pads. - Velcro speaker pads. - Velcro microphone pad. - USB-C charging cable. Waterproof Installation Guide Place the helmet on a flat surface with the cheek pads facing upwards. Remove the cheek pads and then remove the earphone inserts. Position and apply the female Velcro side on to the earphone seats. Remove the plastic side cover on the exterior of the helmet’s shell by releasing the small lever. Remove the plastic cover located centrally in the rear section of the helmet by releasing the small lever. Take the User Interface and its associated wiring, and push the plastic connector inside the hole on the shell until it exits on the other side. Once all the wiring is positioned inside the hole, attach the keypad to the shell by snapping it securely into position on the plastic housing. Take the Main Unit and wiring, and connect the connector. Apply a Velcro patch on to the recess on the chin bar, and then secure the microphone to the patch. Attach the speakers in the recess on either side, and then check the wiring is positioned correctly inside the channel. Connect the three connectors (the red microphone and black speaker connectors on the left side, the black speaker connector on the right side). Push the antenna inside the hole on the red PU on the helmet’s interior. Ensure the wiring is routed inside the space between the EPS and the shell and NOT inside the red clip. Use adhesive fabric to securely attach the cables and connectors in position. 24

Upgradable system firmware, accessible via the Tech-Air® App. Bluetooth low energy (BLE 5.0) connectivity with the Tech-Air® App shows the system’s status, the battery status and riding data. The integrated certified lithium ion battery has a battery life of 40 hours and a recharge time of approximately four hours.
