dragspecialties.com | #SINCE1968 tures a pair REVO-ARC Remote Reservoir shocks. “Legends was a real pleasure to work with,” Mohr said. “They always go above and beyond with their service and support.” “Of course we also wanted to use some of our own products,” Mohr said. A Kodlin U.S.A. Signature Series Squareback seat, Ascent Pro risers and mirrors, saddlebag latch covers, water reservoir covers and horn relocation kit, air cleaner and gas cap are all included in the build. A new line of Kodlin U.S.A. and SBS designed 10-spoke brake rotors are featured, matched with a set of Arlen Ness 6-piston brake calipers using titanium brake mouthing hardware. The bike is not all ‘just’ catalogue parts. “Len took the bike down to the frame for powdercoating, he had his hands on everything.” There are a few items on the bike where there was some fabrication and custom work, Mohr said. “But we did not go too extreme.” “One example of this is the Kodlin NXL Redline floorboards used on the bike,” Mohr said. “They come standard with a red accent, but it is very easy for someone using their local custom powdercoating service, they can match their own custom color choice to their bike’s paint.” This was done for the cover bike build, Mohr said “This is an easy way for someone to add something extra to really make their bike stand out when using Kodlin U.S.A. parts.” Getting the bike painted was a bit more complicated than a ‘typical’ custom bike build. The gas tank, body panels, saddlebags, fenders and side covers were shipped to Ried, Austria for the prep and paint – making this cover a bike a true two-continent build. “It is true,” Mohr laughed. “We did send everything to Austria for the paint. Len has worked with Marcus (Pfeil) on past projects. They know each other very well, and Marcus really knows how to get Len’s design ideas to show in the design and paint – he just nails it.” “I am very excited and proud of the result,” Len Kodlin said. “I can’t wait to drop in at a dealer somewhere on the planet and see the bike I built right there on the cover of the Drag Specialties FatBook.”
